Piusa ürgoru Maastikuteater esitleb:


Avalik töötuba I / “Sisemaastikud” / Muusika ja teater

Aeg: 9. märts 2024 kell 10:00 - 18:30

Asukoht: Vastseliina rahvamaja suur saal

Sisu: Hääle ja meloodiate töötuba muusikaõpetaja Merle Reiteriga

juhtimisel. Peale lõunat teatrimängud ja loovuse vabastamine kogemusega näitleja

Markus Truupi juhtimisel. Lõpus ühine rütmide jämmiring kaasatoodud instrumentidega koos muusik Tauno Kundiga.

Avalik töötuba II / Välismaastikud / Jalgsimatk ökoloogiga

Aeg: 27. aprill 2024 kell 12:00-16:00

Asukoht: Eikellegimaa - Piusa jõe ürgorg (Võru vald)

Sisu: Jalgsimatk maastikuökoloogi ja autori Anneli Paloga - looduskeskkonna õppetunnid ja väärtused.

Arutelu kohalikul maastikul ellujäämise õppetundide ka jätkusuutlikkuse teemal. Lisaks ajurünnakust tulenevad teemad.



Avalik töötuba III / Karakterite ja kostüümide loomine

Aeg: 25-26. mai 2024 (mõlemal päeval kell 11-15, 4-tunnised töötoad)

Asukoht: Eikellegimaa

Sisu:  Õmblemine, punumine, maskid ja rekvisiidid. Töö traditsiooniliste käsitööriistade ja looduslike materjalidega. Töötoa eestvedajad: Helen Moppel ja Maari Soekov.

Helen Moppel on 20 aastat tegutsenud Eesti filmimaastikul nii kostüümikunstnikuna, dekoraatorina ja grimmeerijana. Maari Soekov on kunstnik ja illustraator, kes loob maagilistesse mustrimaailmatesse animistlikke karaktereid. 

Muudes tegevustes abistavad vabatahtlikult kogukonna omad käsitöölised.


Public Workshop I / ‘Interior landscapes’ / Music and theatre

Free opportunity to explore your voice, theatre and hidden musical talents!

Time: 9 March 2024 at 10:00 - 18:30

Location: Vastseliina community house, auditorium upstairs.

Contents:
  1. Voice and melody workshop by Merle Reiter, specialist in methods for training the voice with beginners.
  2. Theatre games and releasing creativity with experienced actor and theatre educator Markus Truup.
  3. Discover your rhythm: jam with musician Tauno Kund.

Djembe provided by Väike Werrone Kool (BYO instruments if you have them)


This event is designed for those with no previous experience of music and theatre. All are welcome despite your level of experience or confidence. Participate in as much or as little of the day as you wish.

There is no cost of participation, please bring a snack for the table.

Tea and coffee available for a small fee.

Public Workshop II / ‘Exterior landscapes’ / Educational Hike

Discover the forests and fields through the eyes of Ecology

Time: April 27, 2024 at 12:00-16:00

Location: Eikellegimaa - the ancient valley of Piusa river, Võrumaa

Content:

1. Guided hike with ecologist and author Anneli Palo - lessons and values of the natural environment. **2 hour hike: includes steep trails and river crossings, appropriate footwear and reasonable level of fitness required.

2. Discussions on the connection, values and lessons for us contained in our local natural landscapes.

3. For those involved or interested in the Community Theatre project: Applying this discussion to Brainstorming and Developing the performance elements for the August theater.


**Guided tour and discussions will be in Estonian language however whisper translation will be available on request.

Public workshop III / Characters in Landscapes / Costumes and Craft

Design a character and realise the costume

Time: 25th and 26th of May 2024.  11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 4-hour workshops)

Location: Eikellegimaa - the ancient valley of Piusa river, Võrumaa

Content: Workshop on developing a character, sewing, braiding, masks and props. Work with traditional hand tools and natural materials.

Workshop leaders: Helen Moppel and Maari Soekov.

Helen Moppel has been active on the Estonian film scene for 20 years as a costume designer, decorator and make-up artist.

Maari Soekov is an artist and illustrator who creates animalistic characters in magical pattern worlds.

Craftsmen from the community are present to assist with tools, materials and techniques.

Public workshop IV / Analogue film workshop - Landscapes and scenes

Time: July 24-27, 2024 at 11:00-15:00 every day

Location: Eikellegimaa - the ancient valley of Piusa river, Võrumaa

Content: Workshop on creating audiovisual images/ films for the performance - “Periphery”. We use 16mm camera equipment and different analogue film technics (scratching, painting, covering) - in collaboration of the already existing scenes of the show. We make short films which will be projected by a 16 mm projector in the actual performance in the scenery-landscape.
We will be developing the films in Riga.

Workshop leader: Dragos Adriana - Lector, Photography and Dynamic Image, National University of Arts Bucharest Bucharest, Romania

The workshop is in English with possible Estonian translation.
